Geeky Planning Fun

This post is for any of you that totally want to geek out on the joys of planning for the new year.

In this video I talk about the 4 steps I take to plan for the year ahead.

You'll also get a few of my favorite questions for reflection, envisioning, and mapping out the year ahead.

And some really hot office supply advice. (Spoiler alert!...generic sticky notes are vastly inferior to Post-It brand...)

Side note: If you know the Post-It people please tell them, "Yes, I would like to be a celebrity sponsor for them." 😂 🤣

One of the things I mentioned in this video is that I carved out 3 days each quarter this year to do training, planning, and reflection related to work (and life).

I'm definitely KEEPING this strategy next year. It was wildly rewarding and impactful.

I can now say I would recommend a version of this practice to everyone...and I've been having fun brainstorming ways it could fit into a lot of different situations: the corporate warrior, the solo-business owner, the busy family, etc...

If you are curious about how to make quarterly "retreat" days like that work for your situation I would love to talk to you.

I think the conversation could be fun for both of us...and candidly, I'm just really curious to pick your brain and see if some of my ideas about how to adjust this process for different situations are on the right track!

So, if that's something your interested in, just email me and we can find a time to share ideas and perspectives in January!

Speaking of January....I won't be in your inbox next Tuesday.

Enjoy these special days before the new year. It's one of my favorite times of year!

xoxo,

Marijke Ocean
